On April 4 and 5, 2026, Doc. Collins was present at the unique and atmospheric  Fantasy Festival in Ter Apel. This special event is known for its magical setting, where fantasy, creativity and craftsmanship come together. For us as a craft distillery, it was the perfect place to showcase our characterful spirits to a wide and curious audience.

A Weekend Full of Magic, Experience and Character

The Fantasy Festival in Ter Apel transported visitors into a world of mysticism, stories, and remarkable encounters. Surrounded by impressive costumes, imaginative market stalls, and immersive decor, the Doc. Collins stand felt like a natural fit. Our moonshine, whiskey and liqueurs blended seamlessly with the rugged, authentic, and adventurous atmosphere of the festival.

Visitors didn’t just come to look, they came to experience and taste. From our smooth and approachable flavors to the more bold and robust varieties, every bottle told its own story. This led to great conversations, new connections, and, above all, enthusiastic reactions.

Challenges from Extreme Winds, but Perseverance Prevails

The night from Saturday to Sunday brought unexpected challenges. Severe wind gusts swept across the grounds, causing damage and disruption. However, it quickly became clear how strong the event and its community truly were.

Thanks to the combined efforts and perseverance of all exhibitors and the organization, the festival was able to continue on Sunday. This created an even more special atmosphere: visitors returned in large numbers and were not discouraged by the conditions. On the contrary, the energy and appreciation may have been greater than ever.
